I'd like to persistently sort my Favorites by Title, but my Logins by Date Modified
I sort my Favorites by "Title, Alphabetically" because they're easier to find (I have 15 items in my Favorites). However, I like to sort my Logins by "Date Modified, Newest First" because that is how...

Thank you for the feedback! Currently, items being sorted the same way across all categories is by design. That being said, I can see how different sorting orders in different categories could be useful to some people and I've filed a feature request with our product team to have them consider such an option.

This is absurd. How can it not retain a sort order preference?
After several years of omitting v8 and just having migrated all my vaults to it, this was the first thing I noticed and is incredibly annoying.
How can you say this is by design? That's poor design. Fix it please. 1Password is way too much of a mature product for this nonsense. I can't believe it.
Thank you.

Welcome to the community! Just to clarify, so that I can make sure that I understand your feedback accuretely: are you not seeing the universal sort order be preserved when you change it in the 1Password desktop app? Or are you wishing to see a different sort order for each different item list like the original poster in this thread?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Personally, I just want the sort order for my Favourites to be persistent. Every time I open the app on my Windows 11 PC, I have to manually sort them by Title. It is very annoying

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Our developers are aware of the issue and are currently testing a fix in the latest beta version of 1Password. We hope to release the fix to the production version soon.

Hello Dave,
Following on the same issue, when can we expect a fix?

Thank you both for clarifying. The universal sort order not being preserved when switching between items lists is a bug in the latest versions of 1Password. Our developers are aware of the issue and are currently testing a fix in the latest nightly version of 1Password.
Once testing is complete the fix will be released to the beta and then the stable versions as well. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
