4 years agoImpossible to add a local vault on Chrome extension
Hi community !
I have a problem on Chrome
I have 2 vaults :
- One vault registered on onepassword.com (professional passwords) -> Shared with collegues (I don't use the "personal" vault of onepassword.com)
- One vault stored on my HD, synchronized with Dropbox (personal passwords)
On Chrome, the only passwords displayed are passwords of onepassword.com, but imposible to access passwords stored on my HD... When I want to add a vault, it is necessary by logging to a onepassword account...
With Safari there is no problem, i can access both vaults
Do you have an idea ? Any solution ?
A big thank you if anyone can solve this, my Safari is crashed, and this is the last detail to switch definitly on Chrome...

Hi @FredLC:
The 1Password extension for Safari included in 1Password 7 supports both 1Password accounts and standalone vaults. 1Password in the browser (the extension you've downloaded for Chrome) only supports 1Password accounts, and doesn't support standalone vaults.
If you'd like to use your standalone vault in Chrome, you'll need the classic extension: Get the 1Password classic extension
