This is the expected behaviour, as Autofill is a lighter-weight interface, so its lock screen doesn't trigger all of the same behaviours as the main 1Password app. This is why we see different performances when we unlock directly from the 1Password app versus from the Autofill prompt.
Therefore, you'll need to unlock 1Password with your Master Password from the app itself in order to be prompted for your fingerprint afterwards.
