Hi @Jerryzurek, I'm sorry to learn you encountered this issue (and for our delay in reply).
Were you by any chance migrating data from a standalone vault in your 7.9.4 app? If so, 1Password 7 will need to be open and unlocked in order for the migration to work successfully.
(In other words, quitting the installer, opening 1Password 7 for Mac, and running the installation process again should do the trick.)
