iPadOS Safari extension doesn't lock automatically and doesn't allow biometric unlock! Why?!

1Password 8 extension in Safari iPadOS doesn't auto lock like the app and also, once locked, requires the full password be typed even if the app is unlocked. These are big losses in functionality and security in 8 vs 7.
