Issue with Browser Extension: Multiple Passwords Required

I'm sorry that you're running into issues when unlocking 1Password using your account password. As a start, can you make sure that the 1Password desktop app is set to run in the background on your Mac:
- Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
- Click on 1Password next to the  Apple logo in the menu bar.
- Click Settings.
- Make sure that "Keep 1Password in the menu bar" is turned on.
If the option was already turned on, or you still see the issue after turning it on, then do you happen to run any other Chromium browsers on your Mac such as Chrome or Microsoft Edge? If you do then do you see the same issue there?-Dave

I haven't had the issue once I made 1Password in the menu bar. Thank you so much.
PS- It would be ideal if I don't have to clutter my menu bar—definitely trying to keep it as clean as possible. But this solution seems to work for now.

I'm glad that keeping 1Password in the menu bar resolved the issue, keeping 1Password in the menu bar allows 1Password to keep running in the background even when the main window is closed.

The reason why the 1Password icon needs to be visible in the menu bar when 1Password is running in the background is so that you can be aware that 1Password is active and whether it is locked or unlocked. Without the menu bar icon, it would be possible for 1Password to be running unlocked in the background without you knowing if you had closed the main window.
That being said, I know that some folks use third-party apps to hide certain menu bar icons. That might be a direction to look into.
