5 years agoIssues with Icon in Safari Extension
The icon in the early access beta is very obtrusive compared to the previous version and appears on the opposite side of the address bar in Safari. Since Safari allows the page color through the colors of the 1Password icon stand out like a sore thumb on many pages. The old icon blended in nicely to the Safari UI and its placement was consistent with other extensions.

Hi @sstumpf, thanks for the feedback on the 1Password for Safari icon. I have passed this on to our development team as a request for a future improvement, and included a link to this conversation as well. Thanks for taking the time to discuss this with us! 🙂

Yeah I agree

Would still like to see the icon better match the Safari UI so that it works nicely with website regardless of their color.

Must have been an issue with Beta 4, I was unable to move the extension icon. Tried moving it again with Monterey Beta 5 and it worked fine. Thanks

You can place the icon wherever you like. Left, right doesn’t matter…
