Issues with Touch ID with macOS Sequoia

I have found touch ID problematic since Sequioa. However my apple watch worked to unlock 1Password after a lot of turning various options on and off and the steps recommended by Dave above. Basically touch ID is not working well generally but I have stopped fiddling with it and trying to get to work as long as my watch opens my important things. Typing in my very secure and long master password was frankly getting tedious all the time.
However it is disappointing. I haven't been prepared to delete any Library files as I am very wary of doing that and I am quite sure it is an Apple issue from experience with touch ID on various devices before.
