Issues with Touch ID with macOS Sequoia

I am pretty happy with 1Password by the way. I logged off and ran a test just now.
1.Touch ID wouldn't unlock my Mac. It never works really with anything as far as I can tell from memory.
2. As far as I can see for sure it NEVER works for 1Password. This started happening I think after Sequioa.
I have, as I might have said, got my very old apple watch to work as an unlocking device for my 1Password. It vibrates and I have to press the button twice as it asks. I think that is what I do for apple pay and so on. As you know it is hard to be fully systematic and keep a record when touch ID is so glitchy. Frankly I have always found it glitchy really. I was hoping on this machine it would be better!
