Item search is executed in the middle of Japanese input.

When searching for items within 1password, pressing the Enter key to confirm the Japanese input character is recognized as the Enter key for executing the search. As a result, the search is executed even though I am in the middle of entering search characters.

  • Generally, to input Japanese, words and sentences are completed by repeating {character input → Enter}.

  • Hi @tkh13, 👋🏻

Thanks for surfacing this behaviour. I can certainly understand how it would interrupt your workflow and apologize for any inconvenience it's caused. An issue has been filed with our development team to further investigate and I look forward to sharing updates.

Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. 🙂
