I've broken everything Beta 8 on Mac and 1P on Safari

Not sure how but 1P Version 8.2.2-72.BETA (8.2.2-72.BETA.84367) loads but does not work, there is no working window. I know this is the wrong forum but 1P for Safari is installed but not appearing...

So pleased it worked for you and I must give credit where it is due. The workaround was provided by the excellent 1Password support team.
