kdfType: 1

Hello all,

I'd like to switch to 1Password but unfortunately I am not able to import my passwords from Bitwarden. When I try to import my json encrypted tresor in 1Password, I receive a warning about kdfType:1 and the proccess just stops.

Is there a workaround?

    Hello AOKAOKAOK​! 👋

    I'm sorry that you ran into an issue when importing your items from Bitwarden. From the error message, it looks like you might have your KDF algorithm in Bitwarden set to Argon2id.

    To resolve this issue, change your KDF algorithm  to PBKDF2, then repeat the steps to export and import your data.

    If that doesn't resolve the issue, or if you're already using PBKDF2 in Bitwarden, then please send an email to support@1Password.com along with a link to this thread so that our support team can investigate this further.
