Login item added by the browser extension doesn't show up in the desktop app
When I save a login item from the browser extension, the changes aren't immediately reflected on the desktop app once in a while.
For example, right now, the "Edit" link on the browser extension stopped working. I want to make the necessary changes on the desktop app, but the desktop app doesn't show the newly added item.
I'm now left at the mercy of the desktop app to get the latest data. If I quit the desktop app, unlock it again, the new entry shows up immediately. But, I had waited for minutes before doing that, and nothing had happened.
If there was a "sync" button somewhere in the menus, that would be immensely helpful, but I obviously prefer my changes to show up immediately on the desktop app. Apparently, desktop app sometimes loses its ability to stay in sync with the browser extension's updates or 1Password server, and unaware of the situation.

Hello rando! 👋
I'm sorry that you're not immediately seeing a new item in the 1Password for Windows app. It sounds like something may be preventing the 1Password app from updating as quickly as it should.
If you manually lock and then unlock the 1Password desktop app, then do you see the new item immediately appear?

Hi 1P_Dave,
It's been a while since I reported but I think I did try that too. I even tried reopening the browser, and uninstalling/reinstalling the browser extension. Neither had made any difference. The only thing that fixed the issue was to quitting and reopening the desktop application.
I'll make sure to try it again when it happens.
Thanks
