Low contrast in 1Password 8 for Windows

Hello rwilen, thank you for this feedback. Accessibility and usability are really important to us, so we appreciate that you've taken the time to share your experience with this.

I have passed this feedback on to our development team so they can take a look (so to speak) at how this might be better done.

In the meantime, perhaps I can offer a more immediate solution:

  1. Open 1Password as usual
  2. Click ... > Settings > Appearance

There are a couple options here that might be helpful. Let me know what you think! 👇

  1. Set Theme to Dark. This will create higher contrast between the item username text and the background.
  2. If you think it'll be helpful, try increasing the Interface Zoom. Now that item username text will appear larger too.
