mac Firefox touchID stopped working?

Hi I have until today been able to use touchID in my mac with firefox and today ti's disappeared completed... tried reinstalling the 1p app and the browser extension but no joy yet... what am I missing?

1Password Version: 1Password 7 Version 7.9.2 (70902005) 1Password Sto
Extension Version: 2.1.4
OS Version: MacOS 12.01 (M1 2020)

    Hi @Bobbyking!

    Is the integration between the browser extension and the desktop app still enabled for you?
