macOS 1P8 Application Autofill can't multi-select
I really like the ability to autofill applications and not just webpages in 1Password 8 on macOS, brings back memories of 1Password...5 (I think?) on Windows that would autofill Windows applications--of course I used Windows back then and more macOS now, so I'm happy for it to come to macOS finally. However, it seems overzealous--when I select an item to fill for an application and save it, in the future, Cmd+\ seems to fill only that exact match in a login form, and doesn't let me search for alternate items.
For example, I have multiple Microsoft 365 accounts. I log into multiple accounts in Outlook, which requires Modern Authentication and MFA, and I have to periodically re-authenticate. Sometimes I'm prompted by Outlook to re-auth to one account, sometimes to the other, depending on the timeouts.
When I use Cmd+\ and find the currently correct login, then Fill & Update Login, it saves Outlook in the list of linked apps for that login.
When the next similar popup occurs, I hit Cmd+\ and it autofills the FIRST login above, and doesn't let me search/confirm that the associated login is the one I want to use. I want to find a second login and link it to the same app (two logins linked to Outlook), and when I Cmd+\ next time I want to be able to pick which to fill, like when I'm on a website where I have two logins with matching URLs. But I can't edit an entry and manually add a linked app that I can tell, and it never prompts me again, just uses the already-set one, so am I missing a way to make this work? Or is it limited to being useful only for apps where we have one credential and no more?
I can't quite figure out if I can use Quick Access to make this work either, still getting used to it. But it's not obvious to me if it would work or let me save the same app to a second password.
Otherwise, I'm completely loving 1Password 8 in 98% of the ways so far after a week, and I wasn't sure I was going to. Kudos!
