7 months agoThank you for taking the time to make us aware of these. I will discuss them with our localisation team to determine how best we can handle them.

7 months agoI have done some investigation into these.
Our translations do correctly reflect the three areas you have highlighted "Should not be capitalized" but there was a piece of code forcing these to be capitalized which I can and will remove to resolve the issue.
I can also update "koordinate" to read "koordinaten". The lowercased K here is a design/content choice that keeps this label consistent with how other field labels are represented within 1Password (like those within item details for example)

Thanks craski For looking into that matter :)
I find the lowercase “koordinaten” a bit confusing. On the one hand, it is grammatically incorrect, and on the other, I see properly capitalized labels elsewhere in the German localization, such as in the item details (see my attached screenshot like „Ort“ or „Verwandte Objekte“ or „Notizen“). For consistency, it might be better to adjust this to be also capitalized.

That is great additional context, let me investigate this one further too and see if we can fix it also.

Again, thank you for your help with this (since it is merely a minor issue). :) In the second screenshot, I also noticed a slight inconsistency in capitalization. For example, in “weiteres Feld hinzufügen” and “weitere hinzufügen,” the “w” is lowercase, whereas in “Weiteres Objekt hinzufügen,” it is uppercase. I believe both uppercase and lowercase could be correct here, but it would be best to keep it consistent. Additionally, the “Add Tag” button is not localized in German and should be something like “Tag hinzufügen.”
