New Item 'quicklinks' customization

Just wanted to toss my hat into this ring in support of wolfspyre​. I'm not nearly as vexed, but do find it odd that 1) we can't be the ones to decide what lives at the top of that dropdown, and 2) if I'm in a category and hit that +New Item, the category I'm currently IN isn't somewhere in the top 6 choices.
