New Sign in alert emails suddenly!

Hi

Last day or two Ive been getting a fair few new sign emails referencing Safari Extension.

I've not signed out of any of my devices so i'm not quite sure why I'm getting these.

I did disable and re enable the browser extension on my iPad yesterday due to that issue where the extension stops working which I believe is currently being investigated by 1p.

Im pretty confident i've not been breached, I seem to remember a similar issue a while back.

Can anyone help?

    Hi 1P_Dave

Im looking under trusted devices/browsers and I can see about 12 for safari extension, it's all confusing as the MAC address? is different for most, even my iPhone which is the only iPhone trusted device has a different IP address.

I'm using iCloud private relay, perhaps thats the issue.

  • Hello telUK! 👋

I'm sorry that you're seeing an unexpected sign-in email from 1Password. If you don't see any unrecognized devices when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app) and click your name > Profile and look under Trusted Devices and Browsers then you might be running into a known issue where extra emails can be sent when using 1Password for Safari.

I recommend sending an email to support+forum@1Password.com using the email address associated with your 1Password account so that our support team can take a look. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and make sure it's gotten to the right place. 🙂
