No matter how long or short I set the 1password app on my iMac to stay open, it never waits that length of time. I set it for say 2 hours but after perhaps 20 minutes (I've never timed it) I have to ...

Hello @Henry_Barnett! 👋

I'm sorry to hear that 1Password for Mac is locking more often than you would expect. It sounds like you've set the "Lock after the computer is idle for" setting to 2 hours, can you tell me which of the other auto-lock settings are enabled:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
  2. Click on 1Password 7 next to the  in the menu bar.
  3. Click on Preferences.
  4. Click on Security.

Is it possible that you're triggering one of the other auto-lock conditions that you have turned on? I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂
