Non-English Keyboard Shortcuts in 1Password8

After downloading 1Password8 I can't configure the keyboard shortcuts as I used to with the previous versions. When I try to create my own custom shortcuts it put's in different characters than typ...

Thanks for letting us know about this. We're actively investigating trouble with the two specific keys you're seeing swap. If you try another keyboard shortcut (that isn't $ or <), does that improve your state of play? Let me know!
