"Notes" searchable in app, but not extension
I've noticed that text entered under the "Notes" section is indexed/searchable using the 1Password desktop application, however the text is not searchable within the extension. For example, searching...

I'd like to up-vote this feature request.
It erodes my confidence in 1Password when I can't find login credentials using the browser extension because the keyword searched for is in the Notes field and not the Title field. Polluting the Title field with key words is an unacceptable workaround to this limitation.

Hi bill_ds, thanks for sharing your interest in expanded search capabilities in the 1Password extension.
I'm curious about the keyword system you're employing to search for items. Could you share a bit more about how you're using keywords, and the sort of scenario where you would search for a keyword instead of an item name typically? While I can't promise the search behaviour will be changed, I'd be happy to include that feedback in a feature request. Thanks again!

Hi 1P_Timothy ,
Yes. For example, my pharmacy is Express Scripts. In the Notes field I have several keywords: pharmacy, medicine, drugs, Rx, etc.
In the standalone app, I can pull up the Login record by just typing 'rx,' or any other keyword.
In the browser, the extension can't find the record unless I type the name in the title.- 1P_Timothy1 month ago

Thanks for sharing those details bill_ds. As mentioned, this may not be a change that gets implemented, but I've gone ahead and shared your feedback with the team.
As an alternative, have you tried adding keywords as tags instead of text in the notes section? Tags are searchable in the browser extension so they could help with your use case.
Thanks again!
