One-Click Bookmarks Dead?

The upgrade to version 8 has broken the dozens of one-click bookmarks I use daily in Safari. I can see no way to correct this, and am unable to create new bookmarks to replace the old ones. (Dragging...

Thanks for the quick concise reply. I'm using Quick Access, but I'm afraid I find it a poor substitute for my previous use of one-click bookmarks. In particular, it isn't scriptable.
