Hi folks,
Thanks for your feedback here on this! I've added your input to an internal feature request we have on this. While I can't promise anything, we use feedback like yours to help inform the future of 1Password.

Just dropping a +1 on this, the auto-insert doesn't always work and there's also the situations that @Luke90 describes as well.

I also really miss this option. I have to use some websites that require both the password and the OTP at the same time. With version 7, I could just open choose the appropriate login and then
cmd + V
the OTP into the next field and login. I am really missing that feature. It would be great to have this feature back again - at least as an option to enable. - Former Member
+1 its a known issue. only way to fix it is to downgrade to v7, sadly

I also experience this problem consistently with 1Pv8 for Mac for the Fidelity Symantec VIP Access TOTP. See https://1password.community/discussion/128291/fidelity-investments-totp

For me OTP in the browser works most of the time.
It consistently does not work for my company’s SSO (using a Microsoft 365 account).

1P_PeterG no this does NOT work. please investigate. we were able to reproduce the issue many times. its shocking that such a half complete v8 was released to public.
Any plans for a proper and usable v9?

Hi @"Nevin Ng", thank you for raising this issue.
1Password in your browser should normally auto-fill this for you. Are you finding that's not the case when you go to the website? If you're able to share any (non-private) specifics with us, we'd be happy to investigate if something isn't working right. 🙂
