PASSKEY - not working for GMAIL on Smartphone but on Desktop
So today I decided I would start using Passkeys on different accounts. Since this is a new experience for me I decided I would to first try accounts that are NOT important to me. LinkedIn and Twit...

I'm sorry that you're seeing a "No passkeys available" message on your Android device. Even if you add a passkey to your Google account you should still be able to sign in using your password. This might provide you with a workaround to add your Google account while we work to resolve the issue that you're running into with passkeys.
As a first step, try the following on your Android device:
- Open your device settings.
- Tap General Management.
- Tap Password, passkeys and autofill.
- Toggle 1Password off under All Services, then toggle it on again and tap OK in the popup that appears.
- Tap Preferred Service and then tap None from the list of services.
- Tap OK in the popup that appears, then tap 1Password from the list of services. Then tap OK in the popup that appears.
Then try to sign in with your passkey again. If that still doesn't work then can you tell me if you're able to sign in to other websites (like LinkedIn) using a passkey on your Android device?

I tried your suggestions. Sadly it did not work for me.
I believe it is a problem with the Samsung Mail Client and during the process to add the account it opens some kind of webview (think thats what its called). In that webview I am supposed to login to the Google Account which fails (as described).
The weird thing - the popup that looks for the passkey does not look like 1P but rather something from Google itself - it shows a colored key on top of it as you can see in my first post.
So I tried to go back to you instructions and also remove "Google" from the services, because it was also active.
Tried again to setup the Mail Client - again it did not work.
To check if it generally works I looged into GMAIL using Google Chrome on the Phone,
this time 1Password came up and I was logged in just fine.- 1P_Dave6 months ago
