Great question! There currently isn't any way of automatically changing your passwords for sites in 1Password, but I can definitely see how it would be useful, so I'll add your thoughts to an existing discussion we have on this internally. While I can't promise anything, we use feedback like yours to help inform the future of 1Password.
With that said, we do rely on the .well-known/change-password URL, so if you open 1Password in your browser, and choose "Change Password" on a Login item, if a site uses that URL to indicate where the account password can be changed, you'll be taken there.
