Password filling twice

When I use the browser extension with the fingerprint activation to unlock, and if there is only one entry for the site in question, the password field fills twice. As far as I can tell, this happens...

This is still happening Jan 2026:

  • 1Password is locked
  • Browse to a site in Firefox
  • Cmd + \ to fill username & password
  • 1Password asks for master password, enter it
  • Username fills in
  • Password is repeated twice in password field (e.g. "passwordpassword" instead of "password")
  • I suspect it happens more often if the password field page is a new page (websites that ask for username first and then refresh/load HTML for the password field)

It isn't this - it does it on single page username and password fields too.
