Thanks 1P_Dave - appreciate the response - please also include for it to ideally have option for 4 to 8 digits (as opposed to the limited 4-digits only in v7). Your team should note that iOS Supports Alpha-Numeric as well as numerical passcodes now (and may support more than 8 characters/digits also); so ideally the app should also do something similar (incl. for Windows, MacOS, & Android as well as iOS) - but I think a minimum ability to choose 4-8 numeric digits would be adequate to satisfy all of us...?

I will also repeat my previous comment - for the sake of honesty and openness - the lack of a PIN Code Option on all devices and OS's is a deal breaker, for me at least - it may be for others too? I will stay on v7 in the short term on my mobile devices and MacOS but in the absence of any resolution by end of year (which will have been over 6 months of having no PIN in new version) I will not be renewing my subscription at will find a competing product/service.

P.S. and as I've mentioned elsewhere the 'Windows Hello' option is flaky on Windows 10 - so if you use a PIN with Windows it only works about ⅓ of the time - rest of it you are back to entering your full password again...

P.P.S. it's not an upgrade when features are removed. :-)

I've resorted to leaving a "1-Star" review in the App Store out of frustration over this not being addressed. Its a basic iOS function and shouldn't have been removed. Its not that hard. Its about 2 months now I think (maybe more).

As a comparison I use Proton Mail as one of my mail apps/accounts - I asked them to increase the PIN option from 4 digits to 6 when I first signed up and got the app (sometime ago) and they had changed it not just to 6, but to variable 4-8 to match iOS system, AND within less than 3 days!

Its a bit like a previous request I made (some while ago) asking for PINs to be lengthened so you could have 4-8 digits as per the standard iOS Security and that seemed to just go into the all too hard basket or was against the current development mantra (so the app up to version 7 being limited to only 4-digit PINs).

At this stage I'm starting to plan to ditch 1Password in a couple of months and look for an alternative solution as this and the date format issue (both 5-minute fixes I expect) look like they won't be addressed in immediate future - extremely frustrating. Pity as I liked 1Password and thought some of the other aspects of v8 update looked quite good.
