We welcome the feedback, @sstumpf. This is on our developers' radar and we appreciate you letting us know that this is something that stuck out to you. We're iterating fast on the app and hope that the Stable release is one that will delight you. 😄

Compared to the previous 1Password icon and the wonderfully done icons in macOS this is an eyesore.

This seems to be an issue across the board with the icon in the MacOS toolbar, in Safari, and Windows. Hopefully it's just a placeholder icon and gets polished before release.
