[Feature Request] Automatic Editing
When 1Password's window is opened, it would be best if the fields were immediately editable. There is no good reason to keep them from being editable.
When someone opens 1Password, there are 2 major reasons.
One, they are looking to check the password or possibly something in their notes.
Two, they need to edit something about the entry. I've noticed that when I need to edit, it takes longer than I had to in KeePassXC, my previous password manager. More importantly, it's a lot more tedious. I first have to move my mouse up and right to the edit button. Move words and sentences around, cutting and pasting. Frequently, I have to move data from one entry to another. To do that, I have to press edit and then cut. I can't simply go to the other entry. I have to press save so I can go to another entry. Then I have to press edit again for the 2nd entry. After pasting or cutting, I have to go back to the 1st entry. Again, I have to press save and then edit. There are just way too many times I have to press save and edit! It's truly needless.
I think 1Password's development team should focus on trying to minimize the number of clicks and mouse movements that need to be made to accomplish each task. This is what separates the best apps from the mediocre ones.
For example, when I open 1Password, I have to press Control f to start searching for my password. Instead, the focus and cursor should be immediately in the search field. This way, I can immediately type the password I'm looking for.
If I need to edit something, I can just move my mouse once to the pertinent field. I don't have to press edit. One movement of pressing edit doesn't seem bad right now, but they soon add up fast so that it makes navigating and editing tedious.
