Please reassure me that when I delete the 1password7 app that it is not going to delete my vaults

If you can see all of your items in 1Password 8, and you don't see an old "Primary" standalone vault in 1Password 7, then you can safely remove the old 1Password 7 app from your device: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
