4 years agoHi there @ursus
First of all, thanks for writing in with this confusing behaviour. I've managed to reproduce it locally and I believe I have a decent understanding of what is occurring. For this behaviour to manifest itself, I had to enter the number into a field of URL type. 32bit numbers are technically valid IPV4 address representations and your number is being interpreted as such. You can see this in action with a web browser (ex. in firefox, enter https://202652
in the address bar and you will be taken to https://0.3.23.156
). Can you double check if re-creating the field using a Text type stops this behaviour for you as well?
In the meantime, I've started a discussion with my team and hopefully we'll be able to reduce the confusion around this behaviour.
