Problem with my business website when 1password chrome extension is on

I am trying to access my own personal website from the web address http://www.scotthamptoncomposer.com which forwards to exaltron.com/scotthampton. I can access the latter directly but when I try to ...

Just to confirm, are you referring to the "Open and Fill" button beside the website URL in 1Password? If so, this is occurring because the website uses (HTTP) instead of (HTTPS) and 1Password opens URLs to HTTPS by default. The same error occurs when directly navigating to https://www.scotthamptoncomposer.com/.

Therefore, I can suggest editing your Login item's website URL to specify the exact protocol:

http://scotthamptoncomposer.com

  1. Open and unlock 1Password.
  2. Locate your Login item and click "edit".
  3. Change the website URL to http://scotthamptoncomposer.com and click "Save".
