Quick access gives you only one opportunity. You need to quit the app to search again.

Once you invoke the quick access you only have a one-lifetime opportunity to view one entry. If you view that, the window changes to the new window and there is no back button to go back to the list of results. Even the new search does not work, it just remains on the first searched entry.
