Quick Access won't open on custom shortcut

I set opt+cmd+space as shortcut to access the quick access interface. I disabled the conflicting finder search shortcut (systemsettings > keyboard > shortcuts > spotlight) beforehand.

In the 1password settings it shows the desired shortcut (see "Schnellzugriff anzeigen"):

Nonetheless, pressing the shortcut (opt+cmd+space) does not show the quick acess interface.

I got a new MacBook Pro from work and since i had a windows machine for some years, I set it up completely fresh. I setup 1password before any other software, so the issue cannot lie in a conflict with a different software.

I have this shortcut in my muscle memory for almost 10 years (was using start+alt+space on windows), so it would be kinda hard to move to the default shortcut.

I have figured it out by myself.

It is not enough to deactivate the shortcut (unchecking the box) for the finder search window. You have to assign a different shortcut to it.
