Recovery code issues
I'm having the exact same problem. I think this recovery code is completely useless if it doesn't allow us to recover our account, since that's what it was invented for.
Has it worked for anyone?

Hello MeStesso! 👋
I'm sorry that you're having trouble accessing your 1Password account. I've split your post into a new thread since the other thread hasn't been active for over 2 years.
To prevent the misuse of recovery codes, 1Password will automatically abort recovery attempts in certain situations:
- If you’ve recently signed in to your account.
- If you’ve entered your identity verification code incorrectly too many times.
- If you’ve started a recovery attempt and then signed in to your account.
Can you tell me if any of these are the case for you? If they are then you'll need to wait a day before trying to use your recovery code again. If none these situations apply then can you share the specific error message that you see and do you still have access to 1Password on any of your devices?-Dave

After 1 day, it worked. However, in my opinion, 1 day is too long for someone who needs to recover their account immediately in an emergency.

Thanks for the reply. 1Password deliberately limits when a recovery code can be used, especially when you're actively using 1Password on an existing device, to prevent recovery codes from being used as an account takeover tool by malicious actors. You can read more here:
