recovery key not found
Today I was having issues with my 1password vault password on my phone, so I went to the app on my computer and created a recovery key.
I then tried to log in to the computer using the recovery key that I had just created and the system said the a user with that recovery key can't be found.
Is there a delay in how soon a recovery key can be used? I had just created it moments prior.

Thanks for reaching out! You wonβt be able to use a recovery code if you have an active 1Password session or have recently signed in however the error message that you've described is usually caused by a typo in the recovery code. Try copying and pasting it directly from the 1Password recovery code.txt file that you saved when you created your recovery code.
If that still doesn't work then please send an email to support@1Password.com using the email address associated with your 1Password account so that our team can investigate this further.
