Regarding the Flatpak version

I a couple of questions regarding the Flatpak version of 1Password:

1. How likely is for the Flatpak version to lag behind? I ask this because there was a time the Flatpak version was lagging behind. There's a little more detail on https://1password.community/discussion/140558/flatpak-installs-outdated-version-of-1password but there wasn't any clarification on what happened. I guess the 1Password team cannot share further details but I'd like to know if there is any risk of this situation happening again on the future?
2. How do I migrate my data from the deb version to the Flatpak version?
