Safari extension cannot save new login

Tried to add a new logion in Safari with the 1Password extension but the popup displays "Failed to save new item"

1Password Version: 8.10.18
Extension Version: 2.16.0
OS Version: 13.6.1
Browser: Safari 17.1

    Hey drpbier,

    I'm sorry for the trouble you have had when saving an item. Can you give these steps a try and let us know if it get's things back on track:

    1. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
    2. Under General, disable "Integrate with 1Password app".
    3. Under Accounts & Vaults, sign out of your account.
    4. Sign back into your account.
    5. Go back to General, and re-enable "Integrate with 1Password app".
