Safari Extension missing

I just updated to 1password for mac 8.2.2 (beta).
I am using Monterey beta 7 with safari.
After the 1password update (remove 7, install 8) I now have no 1password extension available in safari
Under Safari preferences I have a variety of extensions, some enabled - but there is no mention of 1password anywhere
Restarting safari & 1password didn't help

How can I get the 1password extension available in safari?
