Safari extension disappeared today. It's still in my list of extensions but it just does not appear next to the address bar anymore or in the available selections to be place there. Tried restarting. I'm on 1Password 7 Version 7.9.6 (70906003).
To try to fix the problem I updated to macOS 13.0 but it remains.

I'm sorry that 1Password 7's built-in Safari extension isn't working. 1Password 7 is no longer supported, and I recommend that you update to 1Password 8 to take advantage of the latest bug fixes and updates:
