Safari in-form drop down always shows "No items to show."

On my Mac, Safari in-form filling always shows "No items to show" regardless of available logins.
I've attached a screenshot for 1password.community showing the issue -- form says "nope" extension button says "found one!" and fills correctly.

This is happening both in Stable and Beta channels.
The deets:
macOS 11.5.1
1Password 7.8.6 (as well as latest beta)
Safari 14.1.2

Anyone else having the issue or know how to resolve?
Other things I've tried:
.. toggling the extension
.. deleting 1password and reinstalling
.. beta channel
.. stable channel

Works fine with:
- Firefox 91.0b9 + Extension v2.0.5
- Chrome 92.0.4515.131 + Extension v2.0.5
- MS Edge 94.0.972.0 + Extension v2.0.5 ("1Password X" mode)

    Solved!
    Simple solution provided from support:
The 1Password inline menu only shows items from the vaults you select in the 1Password preferences.

Open the 1Password app > Select 1Password 7 in the menu bar > Preferences > Vaults > Ensure that you tick all vaults there.

    Hi @valor!

For confirmation, is this happening on every website, or just on 1Password.community?

...before you ask, I've also tried disabling all other extensions as well to no avail.
