Safe Operations ?

I have been on 1password6 for many years and have just switched to 1password8 which has been a very painful process, but I seem to be there with two family members. Currently I have the following

• iPhone
  • 1Password8 (Intended as main use)
  • 1Password7 (Keeping for now as a backup but not really used)
• Windows 10
  • 1Password8
• OSX Sequoia
  • 1Password7 (So I can still get at legacy stuff for now)

What I see in my 1password7 is currently

• Online Vault
  • Private
  • Shared
  • Import (Want to get the 1p4_zip items in here)
• Local Vaults
  • Primary (Only contains an item called 1Password Account Migration)
  • Primary - Backup

I have some other passwords and accounts from a few sources that I would like to get into separate vaults in my 1Password account.

Import Options (In 1Password7)

• 1Password Keychain
  • Wish I has a compatible file as it looks like I am free to pick a target vault, but I don't.
• 1Password 6
  • Looks like it needs an sqlite file which I do not have.
  • It also looks like it would only import into the online/private vault which is not ideal.
• Older 1Password
  • Wish I has a compatible file (.pif) as it looks like I am free to pick a target vault, but I don't.

I don't see any way to import a 1p4_zip file.

Restore Options (In 1Password7)

• File --> Restore
  • This option seems to support a restore of a 1p4_zip operation

I can't find any clear documentation on this so I had a few questions.

Where will this restore to?
Will it only touch local vaults?
Are online vaults completely isolated from the restore?
It is safer to logout from the online account and log back in after the restore?
If I log back in after a restore, would it try and migrate the new vault?
What is the "1Password Account Migration" item for in my Primary vault? Can I delete it?
I created vault "Primary - Backup" and moved items from primary here. Are these safe from a restore?
Is there a simple command line tool to convert a 1p4_sip to a supported format?

Is is this simple?

Am I safe to simply do the following?

1. Delete Primary/1Password Account Migration (Is this necessary?)
2. Restore from backup (I believe this will populate Local Primary with no impact to anything else
3. Move/Copy items to my Online/Import vault?
