Save location for exports, remembering

When I do a File > Export of my vault, 1P 8 (which I love, thank you!) defaults to the Downloads folder. 1P 7 used to remember the location I chose, which was actually on an external volume, also ...

Thank you for the clarification. I will note that with a 1Password account you're protected from catastrophe on both ends:

  • If you lose access to all of your devices then you can still access and restore your data from 1Password.com as long as you have a copy of your Emergency Kit.
  • If 1Password.com were to completely disappear tomorrow you would still have access to your items on your devices.

You can also restore previous versions if you accidentally delete or edit an item incorrectly: View and restore previous versions of items
