Scan QR code returns "QR code detection failed" consistently

When trying to create a one-time password for Backblaze, the Backblaze website generates a QR code and displays it on the screen. 1Password seems to know that 2-factor authentication is available ...

I'm sorry that you ran into an issue when scanning a 2FA QR code on the Backblaze website using the 1Password for Mac desktop app. Our developers are aware of the issue and are investigating. I've added you to the internal work item for the issue so that they're aware that you're affected.

In the meantime, you should be able to scan the QR code on the Backblaze website using 1Password's browser extension: Use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication
