Thanks Dave for this reply, but this method shows me all items containing the characters XYZ, whereas I only want items where the secret code (or another field in the item) = XYZ.
From memory I could do this filter from the intelligent search of the old 1Password application?

If you're looking for items whose passwords include the characters "xyz" then you can search for them using these steps:

1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
2. Type "xyz" into the search field at the top of the app (without quotation marks).
3. Click on "Show all matching items".
