Search function iOS

I am unable to search on the iOS app for iPad and iPhone. I have the latest operating system and apps. Thank you

    Hi David. When I open the iOS app and type in the search bar, the item does not pop up to the top. I have to list alphabetically and hunt for it. Not sure when this problem began but it is recent. It is happening on the iPhone and iPad. App and iOS are up to date. Thanks
