Search in 1Password with "Enter" and Passwordlist changing on Attachments

Thanks so much for taking the time to shared all this detailed feedback! We're always looking for ways to improve and folks like you sharing your experiences play a big part in that. While it isn't currently possible to change the default search behaviour, we do have an open feature request for what you describe in your first point and I've added a vote on your behalf. 👍🏻

Likewise with your second point, we have a couple internal discussions ongoing about how the search queries and search contexts behave after being used. I've added a proxy vote there for you as well to indicate that you'd like to see your searches persist.

Regarding your third point, could I confirm that when you do tap the search button at the bottom of the 1Password app, your keyboard appears and you can immediately start typing? Let me know if this isn't the case and we can troubleshoot. Alternatively, if you long-press the 1Password app, there is an option to search that will take you directly to the search section of the app after unlocking. Let me know how that works for you!
