Searching / Filtering

When I search for something I expect the list of items displayed to be reduced to the items entered query.
I don't want that popup window quick picker I wish the "show all matching" items would be the default option and also wish to see the results in the main item column in the currently selected sort order and even by a selected vault or all vaults, the items found message could be added elsewhere keeping the option to organize and sort.
