Secure Notes Markdown links

Hello, I am trying to get links working in my Secure Note with Markdown. Normally that works with: Linking to [Page](Hyperlink) . My issue is that the Hyper link is still visible in the...

+1 here, was very disappointed to find that link formatting is missing from 1P's notes. Understand the potential security risk element, particularly for shared notes, but there have already been multiple really good suggestions in this thread that would mitigate any concerns of that sort - e.g. reveal URL on hover, a Discord-style pop up with the option to trust that particular link in the future, red highlighting of suspicious characters, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion seb I've been a heavy advocate for more Markdown formatting for years. There are many improvements I would like to see. I hope this is something we can bring about. I don't have any estimate on a time frame. Sorry. I'll get your feedback to the team. It'll be there alongside my own.

    Do you know if this is in the queue or if there is any eta or plan yet?
    Or maybe a decision was made to not do this?

      Thanks for following up and for the feedback! The current lack of link formatting in Secure Notes is due to the security considerations mentioned here. 

      That being said, my colleagues and I have forwarded everyone's suggestions to our product team for consideration. I don't have any updates or news to share at this time.

        Thanks for the update.

        Note that the user can see the true destination of the URL by looking at the markdown. Not sure if there is a case where this would not be possible for shared items or something.

        I also note that you specifically refer to Secure Notes. I was actually trying to use links in Notes on Login items rather than Secure notes, just incase it makes any difference.
